Star Wars: Rise of the Empire Concept Pieces
I have been working recently on the character development for the Empress in an upcoming Kickstarter campaign to create an original fan film set in the Star Wars universe. As a Stars Wars fan would expect, the Empress is a symbol of absolute power and evil, and it was a lot of fun to design this character. This is my work so far, my first completely digital commissioned project, and when the Kickstarter is live I will make sure to provide a link!

Rock Creature Concepts
A side project I lent a hand in was coming up with an idea for a new mascot, revolving around the idea of a "dirtbag" character, somewhat resembling a human and rock monster. There were multiple artists, and work is still being done on the project, but these are some simple concepts for shapes/look of the creature, as well as some color schemes. Hopefully this project continues, and they ask for more help.

Wheel of Time: Lan vs Demandred *Spoilers*
It's been a while since the last update, mainly because of this project and finishing up this last semester. Going without saying, this is an excerpt from the book Wheel of Time, book 14. If any readers don't want to know what will happen, don't look down.

Old Portraits
Digging through the files on my computer I found some oil portraits of myself, along with some charcoal. These are around one year old, the charcoal older. I think it's time for an update.

3D From Glasgow
I recently spent a semester abroad at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, studying animation, 3D design, and web development. The stay was amazing and I learned a lot, especially in using 3dsMax. I had a background in using AutoCAD so it wasn't too hard to jump into a second-level course and start creating. By the end of the semester we were to present an organic and architectural model, along with short videos showing them off. These are my first 3D creations.

Biomedical Rendering
I took a class specifically focusing on doing biomedical rendering for medical books and teaching, but what was really being taught was attention to detail and patience. Most of the class was spent on only a few projects as each one took a lot of time to bring to finished quality.

Illustrate a Word- Behemoth
An assignment from a little ways back. After picking a word the intention was to create a scene that best depicts that word's definition.
Zine
Drawn and inked, then scanned into Photoshop for the value, color, and halftones. Assignment was to create an 8 frame comic with a complete story, and I'm a sucker for dragons. The final frame is all images together, meant to be printed on an 11x17 paper and folded into a short comic.
