Wheel of Time: Lan vs Demandred *Spoilers*

It's been a while since the last update, mainly because of this project and finishing up this last semester.  Going without saying, this is an excerpt from the book Wheel of Time, book 14.  If any readers don't want to know what will happen, don't look down.

Old Portraits

Digging through the files on my computer I found some oil portraits of myself, along with some charcoal.  These are around one year old, the charcoal older.  I think it's time for an update.

Book Cover *updated*

As I Lay Dying, 13.5"x8.5", watercolour

A simple assignment to recreate a book cover for a random book without outside inspiration from past covers.  I received Faulkner's As I Lay Dying, a book I have never read, but decided to use a Alphonse Mucha-inspired tone for the cover.

3D From Glasgow

I recently spent a semester abroad at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, studying animation, 3D design, and web development.  The stay was amazing and I learned a lot, especially in using 3dsMax.  I had a background in using AutoCAD so it wasn't too hard to jump into a second-level course and start creating.  By the end of the semester we were to present an organic and architectural model, along with short videos showing them off.  These are my first 3D creations.

Biomedical Rendering

I took a class specifically focusing on doing biomedical rendering for medical books and teaching, but what was really being taught was attention to detail and patience.  Most of the class was spent on only a few projects as each one took a lot of time to bring to finished quality.
